Job Purpose and Overview

As a Sales Application Specialist, you will work within the Commercial team and you will be supporting Sales to successfully present Dawn & Royal Steensma products and solutions to artisanal and industry customers and support their optimal application. This role is based out in our location in Poznan but requires willingness to travel on business throughout the country when necessary. We are looking for potential to grow within our organization.

The Sales Application Specialist role can be summarized as follows:

• Analyze the needs and requirements of our customers in the sweet bakery sector
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and other support departments
• Conduct regular customer visits
• Develop and present tailor-made customer solutions from an application technology perspective
• Provide on-site support for the technical implementation and adoption of new products
• Deliver product presentations and training directly to customers or at our inspiration studio
• Represent our products and companies at trade fairs, events, workshops, and customer meetings
• Support the introduction of new products to the market
• Conduct internal training sessions for the Sales team
• Conduct regular benchmark tests vs competitive products
• Taking full responsibility for Poznań Dawn Inspiration Studio

What Does It Take to be a Sales Application Specialist at Dawn Foods?

You have a strong customer and sales orientation, excellent communication skills, and a passion for sweet bakery. Your commitment to helping customers succeed is outstanding.

Additionally, you meet the following profile:

• Completed vocational education or training as a pastry chef/patissier
• In-depth knowledge of sweet bakery goods, recipes, and baking processes
• Familiarity with industrial and artisanal production methods
• Several years of experience in application technology or technical customer support, ideally in the sweet bakery goods sector
• Proficiency in Polish and intermediate English skills
• Willingness to travel (approximately 30% of working hours)
• Strong self-motivation and a well-structured approach to work
• Flexibility and resilience to best meet customer needs
