As a Textron intern, you will be working with various teams that will enable your success through mentoring and hands on experience in one or more areas such as Tax (Property & Sales and Use), General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Travel & Expense.Responsibilities:· Obtain data from operations and review/reconcile for completeness.· Assist in the preparation of GL account reconciliations/analyses, JEs etc.· Assist with sales & use tax audits.· Ensure customer/vendors exemption certificates are received and managed in a timely manner.Qualifications:Skills/Competencies:· Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills· Strong organizational and time management abilities· Accuracy and attention to detail· Action and result oriented· Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)· Process improvement mindset· Ability to work independentlyEducation/Experience:· Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a major such as Finance, Accounting, Business, or related specialty fields· Strong academic performance preferred.Why Textron?Textron puts a high value on work-life balance.
