Job Description

Sales and Technical Manager

Key Performance Areas
  • Customer service & sales support creating client centricity
  • Build strong relationships with customers personally and professional
  • Manage sales budget and gross margin
  • Attend to customer complaints effectively and respond within 24 hours
  • Respond to customers technical service requests, troubleshoot technical issues, identify the fault, and ensure root cause is fixed
  • Implement preventative maintenance programmes and visit customers to conduct equipment audits
  • Identify and achieve measurable technical and process developments and improvements, innovative for corrective measures.
  • Liaise between customer, planning, and internal sales to ensure accurate forecasting
  • Understand the customers business deeply and provide packaging solutions
Minimum Requirements
  • Engineering Degree (B-Tech or BSc Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics only)
  • Previous experience in a technical sales role
  • Organised, with the ability to build relationships at all management levels within customer organisations
  • Proficient in Excel, able to generate reports and work with numerical data
  • Highly self-motivated, energetic, and capable of motivating others
  • Proficient in English able to read, write, and communicate professionally
  • Own transport
  • Should you reside in or around the Howick / Pietermaritzburg area is an advantage
