Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a point of contact regarding S&OP analysis and reporting
  • Facilitate monthly S&OP processes for specific product groups
  • Gather required raw data for forecasting, planning and operations management
  • Create, maintain and improve S&OP databases housing required information
  • Participate in the preparation and analysis of a business process to translate annual sales plan into a sales budget in units that can be used to drive supply chain activity for existing and new products
  • Create and maintain month and year-end reporting to be shared with Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Strategic Business Unit leaders to evaluate forecasts vs. actual sales (volume, trends, and mix)
  • Create, prepare and publish daily, weekly and monthly reporting metrics supporting the business lines
  • Promptly and accurately respond to ad hoc reporting requests
  • Review data and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Assist in development of new and/or improved tools to ensure timely measurement, reporting, and visibility to Product Supply status to all cross functional stakeholders

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Business, Finance or Supply Chain
  • Experience S&OP, Supply Chain, demand or inventory experience preferred
  • Experience in S&OP functional area within the Medical Device or similar industry is a plus

Skills:

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
  • Cognos and SAP experience is a plus
  • Able to generate non-complex financial or inventory related analysis
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal

Knowledge:

Limited use and/or application of basic principles, theories, and concepts. Limited knowledge of industry practices and standards.

Reasoning Ability:

Provides routine analysis of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures.

Discretion/ Latitude:

Work is closely supervised. Follows specific, detailed instructions and specific direction.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.

Language and Communication Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
