About the Role
Our client, a global supplier of high-precision die bonding and micro-assembly equipment, is expanding its commercial presence across Asia-Pacific and Oceania from its Thailand office. They are seeking a Sales & Marketing Manager to lead regional sales and drive business growth across the region, working through both direct sales and a distributor network.
This is a senior commercial role suited to a proven B2B sales and marketing leader from the semiconductor, electronics assembly, or precision capital-equipment sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the regional sales team — both direct sales and distributor partners — to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Drive business growth across APAC and Oceania, identifying new opportunities and expanding key accounts.
- Maintain an accurate, healthy sales pipeline and ensure the team's compliance with company workflows and documentation standards (CRM-based).
- Develop and execute marketing strategies, including digital marketing, social media, and campaigns.
- Plan, organise, and represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
- Use sales data and KPI analysis to prioritise actions and make data-driven decisions.
- Coordinate with headquarters on commercial strategy, forecasting, and market feedback.
What We're Looking For
- Proven B2B sales and marketing track record within a comparable range of customers and industries (semiconductor, electronics assembly, precision automation, or capital equipment).
- Experience managing a regional sales team, including direct sales and distributor/channel partners.
- Strong people-management and team-leadership credentials.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (a master's in Engineering or Business Administration is an advantage).
- Hands-on with KPI-driven sales operations and CRM (Salesforce ideal); proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Combined commercial and marketing capability across digital, social, campaigns, and events.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Willing to travel within APAC and Oceania.
- Eligible to work in Thailand.
Nice to Have
- Experience with assembly equipment (SMD mounter, die bonder) or comparable high-tech capital equipment.
- Existing network across the SEA / APAC electronics or semiconductor market.
