The Director Sales & Marketing is responsible for growing and managing sales, sales contribution, and growing and retaining the customer base in the region. The goal of the Director Sales & Marketing is to create the best sales organization in the industry.
Lead, develop and manage a team of individuals with diverse backgrounds. Hire and retain outstanding talent to work in high performing teams within sales, key account management, marketing, and customer service and tender management teams.
Continuously provide employees timely, candid and constructive performance feedback. Develop employees to their fullest potential and provide opportunities that enhance employee career growth. Recognize and reward employees for accomplishments.
Coach managers in their role as people managers.
Own the long-term sales strategy for the region, including operational plans for the various teams.
Own the sales P&L and be accountable for meeting the budget and taking necessary actions to manage it accordingly, including the sales forecast.
Successfully launch new product categories (organically or through acquisitions). Develop and execute plans on selling to new channels.
Be responsible for developing actions and measures for new customer acquisitions and sustainable business development.
Be responsible for implementing a KPI dashboard to measure the success of the department as a whole and the individual teams.
Continuously improve and professionalise the sales and marketing organisation.
Be responsible for keeping product knowledge up to date within the teams.
Work closely with European colleagues to share best practices.
Analyse business trends and take corrective actions as needed.
Provide management reporting.

Based in Poland
Proficient in English and Polish
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role and in the healthcare industry
Impressive sales track record
Experience in developing and successfully executing sales strategies
Excellent negotiation skills
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of sales P&L
Excellent coaching skills
Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills at all levels, both internally and externally
Strong analytical skills and high business acumen
Ability to achieve results in a fast-paced, changing, highly demanding environment
Driving license
