Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sales and Development Manager to aims to drive revenue growth on LIEBHERR MINING equipment sales by securing deals with new customers and ensuring profitability

Your responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead and develop Sales & Development team to achieve the revenue growth on LIEBHERR MINING equipment sales, including providing guidance and build support to build a high performing team, Direct and coach all respective subordinates, providing training and conducting performance review to help them growing their skills and advancing their careers
  • Strategic Sales and Development: Plan and manage to secure deals with new customers and ensuring profitability, starting from identifying opportunities, sell more products or services to new Customer and performing the sales business process, from prospecting/canvassing, lead generation, to negotiation and closing contracts, Plan and manage strategy for demonstrating the potential capabilities of LIEBHERR MINING Equipment and operating to their optimal capabilities, with a focus on equipment performance, operational techniques and a reduction of cost per tonne, Serve as the main point of contact for the Equipment Development Sales for the Company, including affiliates, generate reports and oversee CRM to maintain the visibility across the Affiliates including managing administration task assigned to other departmental leaders, including but not limited to the SharePoint, Lead and manage Liebherr-Mining Application Engineer to carrying out and delivering the pre and post sales functions to support LIEBHER MINING Equipment in using the simulation tools and Field test to identify opportunities for optimizing the cost per ton, Solution program and Product development
  • Reporting, CRM and After-Sales Coordination: Build and maintain strong relationships with key Customers, Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline management through CRM systems, Manage and collaborate with relevant stakeholders, both internal & external, to ensure product performance and aftersales support meet the company’s high standards which in turn protects the brand’s reputation, Ensure high satisfaction and a strong brand image by actively participating in product and after-sales support and collaborating with relevant teams
  • Market Intelligence: Plan and develop valuable and insightful market analysis on the industry trend and market intelligent on the competitor activities that affecting strategic decisions, Monitor market trends and customer needs to align the sales strategies in regular basis
  • Financial Oversight: Implement strategies that encourage a low ageing of receivables and minimal financial risk to the company

Your qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, Majoring Engineering or relevant Field Experiences
  • 10 years at the same field
  • Sales process and business acumen on the managerial level
  • Deep understanding of the mining industry, including its key players, operational processes, and the specific equipment and technology used
  • Ability to understand and discuss financial metrics, such as ROI (Return on Investment), TCO (Total Cost of Ownership), Productivity, and Life Cycle Cost (LCC)
  • Ability to manage & motivate a team, providing coaching, mentorship, and clear direction to achieve target
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with key stakeholders to deliver compelling presentations, negotiate effectively, and communicate complex information clearly
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand the company’s and the customers’ specific challenges and propose tailored solutions
  • An established network of contacts within the mining industry is highly valuable
  • Business fluency in English
