About the Role
As the Lead for Business and Sales Operations for Software Products, you will manage all the operational data ensuring alignment across product, sales and finance ensuring transparency for all leadership stakeholders. This role is accountable for creating a unified operating rhythm across planning, Head Count, cost, sales operations, reporting, and executive decision support.
You will lead the team responsible and ensure smooth functioning of day-to-day business operations, maintains high-quality operational data, and provides sales insights that enable leadership decision-making and business continuity. By establishing disciplined governance and reliable processes you will enable the Software Products Business Unit to operate predictably, scale effectively, and achieve its strategic and business objectives.
What You Will Do
- Lead, coach, and manage the Business Operations and Sales Operations roles, setting priorities, driving accountability, and ensuring clear execution across both functions
- Own the integrated operating cadence across sales operations, forecasting, governance, reporting, and leadership reviews
- Coordinate end-to-end annual planning, forecasting, long-term strategy, headcount planning, and investment alignment for each product with 5-year BU business goals
- Liaison with Finance & provide them with annual cost planning cycle through consolidation of Head Count & cost for various products & customers
- Manage customer business case for all pursuits and CRs
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of sales data across contracts, bookings, invoicing, and revenue tracking, including Salesforce data quality and completeness
- Define and strengthen pipeline, contract, and systems governance to maintain a single source of truth across sales data
- Deliver executive-ready dashboards, reporting, KPI tracking, and structured insights to support sales, operational, and leadership reviews
- Identify and implement opportunities to streamline Software Products sales and business operations processes across the organization
- Build scalable governance frameworks, operating mechanisms, and process discipline that improve predictability, transparency, and cross-functional execution
What You Need to Be Successful
- Strong leadership capability with experience managing or guiding business operations, sales operations, or cross-functional execution teams
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end sales lifecycle, including pipeline, contracts, bookings, invoices, revenue forecasting, and actuals tracking
- Experience working with Salesforce (SFDC) or similar CRM systems, with a focus on data quality, reporting, and governance
- Ability to manage and analyze large datasets, reporting outputs, KPIs, dashboards, and executive performance views
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across Finance, Product, Business Growth, Account Management, Customer Success, Sales, and BU leadership in a global, cross-cultural environment
- High attention to detail and rigor in data accuracy, governance, process discipline, and operational accountability
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify risks, opportunities, process improvements, and corrective actions
Bonus Points if You Have
- MBA or equivalent qualification in Business, Strategy, or a related field
- Experience working in a Software, Technology, Automotive, SaaS, or product-led organization
- Experience leading cross-functional operating rhythms for software products or global business units
- Advanced proficiency in tools, such as SAP, advanced Excel, Salesforce dashboards, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools
- Experience building or improving dashboards, sales operations processes, KPI frameworks, and leadership reporting mechanisms
What Makes You Eligible
- Must be based out of an office in Novi, MI and be willing to work in office 3+ days per week
- Willingness to work in EU shifts, as required to support global stakeholders
