Job Description

ServiceMaster Restoration is seeking a motivated, outgoing, and results-driven Sales & Business Development Representative to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will focus on developing new business opportunities, building long-term relationships with commercial clients and insurance professionals, and expanding our presence throughout the disaster restoration industry.

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, organized, comfortable building professional relationships, and capable of managing sales activities through a CRM system.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with insurance agents, brokers, property managers, facility managers, and commercial property owners.
• Identify and pursue new commercial restoration opportunities.
• Generate business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and scheduled client visits.
• Promote our emergency restoration services, including water damage, fire damage, mold remediation, storm damage, and reconstruction.
• Conduct regular in-person visits with existing and prospective referral partners.
• Schedule and participate in client meetings, presentations, networking events, and educational lunches.
• Maintain consistent communication with referral sources to strengthen relationships and increase business opportunities.
• Track leads, contacts, follow-ups, and sales activities using the company’s CRM platform.
• Collaborate with the operations and project management teams to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Work toward established sales goals and business development targets.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in outside sales, business development, or account management preferred.
• Experience in disaster restoration, insurance, property management, construction, or related industries is a plus.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Basic understanding of CRM software, including entering contacts, tracking sales activities, scheduling follow-ups, and managing leads.
• Ability to work independently, manage a schedule, and consistently follow up with prospective clients.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Comfortable meeting with insurance agents, commercial clients, and business owners.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.

Restoration industry experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to consider candidates with a proven ability to develop relationships and generate business.
