Job Description

The Sales Analyst, eBOS will support the development, coordination, and administration of customer quotations and proposals for Nextpower’s electrical balance of system solutions. This position will maintain customer and project information within the company’s CRM and ERP systems, assist with the preparation of quotations based on project technical requirements, and help ensure that proposals are accurate, complete, commercially aligned, and delivered on time.

The Sales Analyst will work closely with Account Managers, Sales Directors, Project Engineering, Applications Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Finance, and other internal stakeholders to collect the information required to support customer opportunities. The role will also communicate with customers and external partners to obtain project documentation, clarify proposal inputs, and track outstanding action items.

This is a developmental role with significant exposure to utility-scale solar projects, eBOS design considerations, commercial processes, and cross-functional sales execution. The Sales Analyst will support Sales Leaders throughout the sales process while gradually developing the technical, analytical, and commercial knowledge needed to manage increasingly complex assignments.

Key Performance Indicators

Success in this position will be measured through:

  • Accuracy and completeness of customer and project information in the CRM and ERP systems

  • Timely preparation and delivery of quotations and proposal packages

  • Accuracy of pricing inputs, project assumptions, and proposal documentation

  • Effective coordination of internal stakeholders to meet customer deadlines

  • Timely follow-up and closeout of assigned leads and action items

  • Quality and completeness of project handoff packages provided to Operations

  • Responsiveness and level of support provided to Account Managers, Sales Directors, and other team members

  • Identification and escalation of missing, inconsistent, or potentially high-risk proposal inputs

  • Contribution to continuous improvement of sales tools, templates, and processes

Here Is a Glimpse of What You’ll Do

  • Review, assign, track, and follow up on incoming United States sales leads in coordination with the eBOS sales team

  • Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, project, quotation, and activity information within Salesforce CRM and NetSuite ERP

  • Support Account Managers and Sales Directors with the preparation of customer quotations, proposals, presentations, and supporting documentation

  • Review customer requests for proposals, project specifications, bills of material, drawings, and other technical documentation to identify required commercial and technical inputs

  • Coordinate with Applications Engineering, Project Engineering, Supply Chain, Cost Accounting, Logistics, Finance, and Operations to collect inputs required for customer proposals

  • Assist in preparing bid-strategy materials and documenting key project assumptions, risks, deadlines, and action items

  • Participate in internal bid-strategy and proposal-review meetings

  • Track proposal schedules and follow up with internal stakeholders to support timely submission of customer deliverables

  • Communicate with customers and external partners to obtain missing project information, documentation, and clarifications

  • Assist with the development and maintenance of pricing models, quote summaries, and contribution-margin analyses

  • Verify that approved pricing, technical assumptions, commercial terms, and supporting documentation are accurately reflected in customer proposals

  • Identify discrepancies, incomplete information, and potential risks and escalate them to the appropriate Sales Leader

  • Prepare routine sales reports, pipeline summaries, dashboards, presentations, and data analyses

  • Support day-to-day communications and coordination with customer stakeholders under the direction of the Account Manager or Sales Director

  • Assist with the preparation of complete and accurate project handoff packages following contract execution

  • Support coordination between Sales and Customer Care to promote clear communication and a positive customer experience

  • Help maintain and improve proposal templates, customer presentations, bankability materials, and internal sales tools

  • Develop productive working relationships across Nextpower departments to support on-time delivery and high-quality customer proposals

  • Support the Director of Sales Operations, Manager of Sales Analysis, and eBOS Sales Leaders with reporting, analysis, and special projects

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Here Is Some of What You’ll Need

  • A Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales support, sales operations, commercial analysis, project coordination, business analysis, or a related field

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, economics, supply chain, or another relevant technical or business field preferred

  • Experience supporting quotation, proposal, pricing, or customer-response processes

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Experience using CRM systems, with Salesforce experience preferred

  • Experience using ERP systems, with NetSuite experience preferred

  • Ability to interpret and organize information from customer specifications, technical documents, drawings, and bills of material

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Demonstrated attention to detail in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Ability to manage multiple assignments, priorities, and deadlines

  • Ability to work effectively across technical, commercial, and operational teams

  • Utility-scale solar, electrical construction, renewable energy, or eBOS experience is preferred but not required

  • Interest in solar energy and the clean-energy transition

  • Ability to travel for customer meetings, project discussions, training, or company events up to 10% of the time

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The annual salary range for this position is 90,000.00 to 110,000.00 plus a commission structure based on commission calculation, such as percentage of sales or specific metrics.(Applicable to California)
