The Sales AgronomistIIwillbe responsible formanaging existing and attracting new customers within the sales territory,assistingcustomers with proper product selection and use based on agronomic needs, andmaintainingand developing profitable customer relationships.

Assistcustomers in selecting and using products based on agronomic needs
Maintain and develop profitable customer relationships
Identifynew key customers, understand their businesses, determine their needs, and support the team in achievingsalesgoals andgrowth
Assistwithterritory budgeting, forecasting,and analysis
Follow credit policies andmanagerisksfor the company
Coordinatean annualbusiness plan thatoptimizesgrowth and profitability for theterritory andgainsthemanager’s approval
Implement marketing and sales plans;meet sales goals;andnetwork with industry representatives to expand sales opportunities
Betheprimarycustomer contact for deliveries, forecasting, credit, complaint handling, and custom applications, bringing issues to management's attention
What You Bring tothe Role:
3+ yearsof experience
Ability to work independently
Willingness to travelthroughout the territory and to periodic sales meetings
Knowledge of herbicides and fertilizers (dry and liquid)
Developing a working knowledge of local agricultural crops and market practices
Proficient with computers,utilizingMicrosoftOfficeand Windows applications
Agronomy/Agribusiness degree

Compensation and Benefits:
In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $52,400 - $69,880. Note that salary may vary based on location, skills, and experience
This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and vacation, holidays, health, dental, vision, mental health, and retirement plan participation, including an employer contribution of up to 7% into your 401(k).
