Report to Head of Sales, MAHLE Trading Japan


Tasks

  1. Sales Management
    - Responsible for budgets (especially turnover budget), forecasting, cost control and planning
    - Responsible for sales activities to ensure profitability of product portfolio by managing sales prices and commercial policies and related SG&A
    - Contribute and motivate other departments in business improvement and corrective measures to meet forecast
    - Organizing regular meetings with MAHLE internal sales colleagues worldwide and sales agents and lead the business expansion
    - Promotes/sells/secures orders from existing customers and seeks new customers/markets
    - Expedites the resolution of customer queries, problems and complaints
    - Monitors and improves customer satisfaction along with the rest of the MAHLE Trading Japan team
  2. Prospection and Business Development
    - Gathers market information in the respective area, analyze and report to managements
    - Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current and prospective customers
    - Leading new product development with other departments
    - Promote products & services to existing/potential customers

Education and experience level

  • University bachelor’s degree or above
  • 3+ years of experience in sales is mandatory
  • Sales experience in automotive / aftermarket industry is a plus
  • Experience in new customer acquisition is a plus

Language skills
Business level in both Japanese and English language skills
