This Position

The Sales Administrator is a pivotal support role that keeps our sales engine running smoothly. This is a non-revenue-generating position focused on providing exceptional operational and administrative support to our sales team, account managers, and customers. You will be the backbone of our sales operations, ensuring seamless customer experiences and enabling our sales team to focus on business development.

Responsibilities

• Ticket Management & Customer Support: Resolve customer inquiries through Zendesk tickets with professionalism and efficiency. Ensure timely and accurate responses to customer support requests.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and internal teams (Finance, Operations, Legal, Technical), coordinating on behalf of customers and ensuring seamless communication.
• Firewall MACDs Processing: Manage Moves, Adds, Changes, and Deletes (MACDs) for firewall services. Provide comprehensive support to customers throughout the change process, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Quote & Order Management: Prepare, review, and process quotes, order forms, and renewal paperwork for compliance and managed security subscriptions. Coordinate with Account Managers to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.
• Proposal Development: Draft professional proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs) for PCI DSS compliance, security assessments, and other compliance-based engagements in collaboration with Account Managers.
• Sales Team Support: Respond promptly to requests from the sales team, providing administrative support and ensuring documentation and processes are in place to support deal closure.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of demonstrated experience in sales support, sales coordination, or business operations roles
• Strong proficiency with ticketing and CRM systems (Zendesk, Salesforce, or similar platforms)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and internal stakeholders
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy, particularly in documentation and financial records
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
• Ability to work independently and proactively problem-solve issues
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the cybersecurity or technology industry
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.)
• Experience with firewall technologies or network security concepts
• Prior experience with Zendesk, Salesforce, or similar enterprise platforms
