About the job

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Jakarta, the Sales Admin Intern will support the hotel’s Sales & Marketing team in driving business growth and maintaining strong client relationships. This role ensures smooth administrative processes, accurate reporting, and effective coordination across departments to achieve sales targets. The Sales Admin Trainee reports to the Director of Events and collaborates closely with the Sales Managers.

As Sales Admin Intern, you will be responsible for the following duties:

Sales Support

  • Assist in preparing proposals, contracts, and client correspondence.
  • Maintain and update client databases and sales records.

Administration

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  • Handle filing, documentation, and follow-up on pending contracts.
  • Coordinate meeting schedules and logistics for the Sales team.

Communication

  • Draft and distribute internal updates on sales activities.
  • Support in preparing presentations and visual materials for client pitches.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the Sales & Marketing department.

As Sales Admin Intern, we expect from you:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  • Strong interest in sales, client relations, and hospitality business development.
  • Good command of English and strong communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
