The Sales Accounting Specialist is responsible for receiving and processing sale orders via Salesforce software with the support of information received over the phone and email. The Sales Accounting Specialist ensures the accuracy of orders and issues invoices, maintains sales records, and compiles monthly sales reports.
Essential Functions:

Receives and processes purchase orders.
Issues sales transaction invoices.
Verifies orders, including customers' personal information and payment details.
Contacts sales professionals by phone or email to obtain missing supporting documentation.
Maintains and updates sales records.
Compiles monthly sales reports.
Expedites orders through internal liaison.
Checks customer Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) records to ensure equipment is free and clear of liens.
Processes yearly service agreements.
Purchases extended warranties for equipment.
Purchases, monitors, and requests bonus incentives from vendor manufacturers.
Converts Manufacturers Certificate of Origin (MCO) to a title for lien perfection.
Supports the sales department with other administrative tasks, if requested.
Receipt new wholegood units (John Deere and Shortline).
Manage and reconcile John Deere and Shortline audits.
Manage and maintain rental and demo process and post payments and credits to inventory.
Wholegoods inventory maintenance.
Retail note reconciliation and payoffs for trade equipment.
Manage and reconcile shipping stand returns.
Performs other duties as required and necessary to ensure the success of AgriVision Equipment Group (AVE-PLP).

QualificationsKnowledge, skills and abilities:
Ability to consistently promote, support, work, and act in a manner in support of AVE-PLP's vision, mission, and values.
Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
Knowledge of industry software.
Advanced knowledge of administrative recordkeeping.
Ability to interpret sales reports and sales records.
Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education:
An Associates Degree in accounting or related field is required.
A Bachelors Degree in accounting or related field is preferred.
Experience:
Previous experience in sales administration, or a similar role is preferred.
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year for year basis.
Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications:
Must have reliable transportation.
Must have and maintain a valid drivers license.
Passing a driving record (MVR), criminal history background checks, employment verification, and drug screen will be required prior to the start of employment.
