Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Sales Accountant to join our team. This role is open to graduates of Accountancy (CPA certification is a plus), Accounting Technology or other business courses with relevant experience in accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and reconcile a high volume of sales data, ensuring accuracy across systems (Sales System, POS, and cash deposits/online transactions).
  • Coordinate with the bank for any cash deposit discrepancies, application or updates of the cash deposit pick up schedule and other sales related concerns with the bank.
  • Record sales journal entries, including reconciliation of petty cash expenses from store operations.
  • Prepare and analyze sales reports as required by management.
  • E-sales reconciliation & filing, PTU Monitoring, EACCREG Registration & other related tasks.
  • Secure and file all pertinent source documents (e.g. Invoices, Vouchers, Official receipts, Sales Deposit Report (SDR), POS readings & etc.).
  • Perform other sales-related accounting tasks as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Degree in Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (CPA is a plus), Accounting Technology or other business courses with relevant experience in accounting.
  • Experience: Proven experience in sales data handling, reconciliation, sales report preparation & accounting (minimum of 3 years in a similar role).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or NetSuite. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data management, analysis, and reporting (e.g., Sales Reports, System vs. POS reconciliation).
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, organizational and communication abilities.
