The Position

As Sales Account Manager you will be responsible for achieving regional sales targets for our Near Patient Care (NPC) Roche Diagnostics portfolio. You will manage the full customer lifecycle, from prospecting new clients to maintaining relationships with existing ones through proactive communication.

Key responsibilities include providing demand-driven sales and after-sales support, conducting customer training, and installing NPC products, all while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. You will also monitor market trends and competitor activity.

Our NPC covers healthcare customers such as physicians (General practitioners, ambulatory specialists - diabetologists, internal medicine doctors, cardiologists, pneumologists) and hospitals. The NPC portfolio consists of various POCT devices, professional/hospital and patient blood glucose meters and CGM.

Preferred location: Southern Moravia, e.g. Brno / Olomouc

Readiness to active business trips is required

Employment contract: initially fixed-term 2 years with a possibility to extend, contract with a vendor of service of Roche

The Opportunity

Customer Relationship & Sales Management:

  • Proactively engage customers to identify needs, suggest solutions, and resolve issues, ensuring high satisfaction through exceptional after-sales support

  • Drive sales growth by negotiating new business, promoting and installing products (instruments, reagents), and expanding the customer portfolio

  • Manage the full sales process, including preparing, presenting, and negotiating quotations using designated tools and processes.

Portfolio Promotion & Training:

  • Promote NPC portfolio by conducting customer training seminars and representing the company at key conferences

Market Intelligence & Personal Development:

  • Monitor and report on regional competitor behavior and market trends

  • Proactively engage in continuous self-learning to maintain expert knowledge of relevant publications and industry information

Compliance & Collaboration:

  • Ensure strict compliance with all Complaint Management procedures, including accurate and timely reporting in our CRM and other global systems

  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the NPC team and other departments to achieve shared goals

Who You Are

  • Secondary education as a minimum, Natural or Health Sciences field preferred

  • Proven customer-facing within commercial functional area experience (1+ years of experience as a minimum)

  • Sales experience in the healthcare field of medical devices or In-vitro diagnostics is desired

  • Czech language fluent and English at intermediate level

  • Demonstrated communication skills to be able to present complex topics in concise and clear manner

  • Negotiation and influencing skills with solution-orientated mindset

  • Able to handle conflicting priorities with value-generating outlook

  • PC Skills (experience working in Google Workplace, MS Office)

  • Team player mindset to challenge colleagues but also support them grow in line with achieving common goals
