BioSolutions Division
This is a full-time, exempt level position located in NA Headquarters (Decatur, IL)

ADM's BioSolutions business delivers innovative, sustainable solutions that help customers solve complex challenges across industrial and specialty markets. By combining ADM's expertise in renewable materials, fermentation, ingredient solutions, and technical support, BioSolutions partners with customers to create value and drive growth.
This role is responsible for growing existing customer relationships and hunting for new customers for ADM's Industrial Oils portfolio. The Sales Account Manager for Industrial Oils will focus on identifying customer needs, creating value-based solutions, and driving profitable growth across markets including but not limited to general industrial, construction, consumer care, paper and packaging, fermentation, and plant health.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated sales professional with a strong hunter mentality, excellent relationship-building skills and a passion for developing new business opportunities.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute customer sales plans to grow Industrial Oils volume, revenue, and profitability
  • Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of existing customers
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within customer organizations
  • Identify customer needs and collaborate with internal teams to develop effective solutions
  • Prospect, qualify, and secure new business opportunities
  • Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities and customer activity within Salesforce CRM
  • Prepare customer quotations, support contract execution, and manage follow-up activities throughout the sales process
  • Coordinate with Technical Services, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Credit teams to ensure positive customer experience
  • Promote ADM's broader BioSolutions portfolio and identify cross-selling opportunities
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer developments to identify growth opportunities
  • Represent ADM at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows
  • Achieve annual sales and business development objectives

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, Chemistry, Engineering or a related field
  • 3+ years of sales, account management, business development or customer-facing commercial experience
  • Experience in industrial ingredients, chemicals, oils, specialty ingredients or related markets preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to build customer relationships and develop new business opportunities
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach and strong accountability
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office applications
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20-25% domestically

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.

If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

The pay range for this position is expected to be between:

$78,000.00 - $145,700.00

Salaried Incentive Plan

The total compensation package for this position will also include annual bonus
