ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Account Manager will take full ownership of a defined customer portfolio, driving both sales volumes and profit margins. Your success will rely on building strong internal and external partnerships, ensuring seamless collaboration to meet ambitious commercial goals. You will lead sales activities within your territory, consistently working toward budget targets while identifying new opportunities to grow customer value and strengthen long‑term relationships. In addition, this role will be responsible for managing and expanding food manufacturing industrial accounts within a B2B environment, ensuring tailored solutions that support operational performance and long‑term strategic growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform Account management for achievement of sales budget and targets within region in order to meet commercial objectives of the entire region for the segment.
  • Propose sales improvements and new ways to approach actual and potential customers in sales territory.
  • Actively communicate frequently with sales team, manager and other departments within the organisation regarding targets, customers and product availability.
  • Develop and maintain new and existing customer relationships and ensure professional customer relationship management (CRM).
  • Live up to internal rules and trade legislation when negotiating and making contracts with customers.
  • Ensure knowledge and know-how within area of expertise is continuously updated and relevant.
  • Validate the accuracy and appropriateness of the data used and ensure relevance and high quality of data output e.g. reports, analysis.
  • Actively transfer information and feedback from the market/customers to managers and colleagues and relevant other departments.
  • Actively increase own professional knowledge and expertise and ensure understanding of the global BC organization

ABOUT YOU

  • You bring 5+ years of experience in B2B Sales—ideally within a multinational environment—and thrive in a fast‑paced setting where ownership matters.
  • A degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Food Engineering is a plus, as is knowledge of the chocolate or food manufacturing industry.
  • You combine strong commercial skills—presenting, negotiating, influencing—with a hands‑on, results‑driven mentality.
  • You are fluent in Spanish and English, and comfortable with frequent domestic travel plus occasional international trips.
  • You have an analytical mindset, a solution‑oriented approach, and the ability to translate vision into concrete action.
  • You excel in stakeholder management and communication, working effectively with cross‑functional teams and customers.
  • You are agile, open to change, and quick to adopt new sales and marketing approaches.
  • You bring a strong entrepreneurial spirit, customer‑centric mindset, and the determination to consistently deliver against objectives.
