Overview

The Sales Engineer will have the sales responsibility for the company’s X ray system sales in his territory. The primary role of the incumbent is to attain sales goals by developing sales, increasing product market share, developing relationships with customers, and maximizing customer satisfaction without sacrificing profitability.

Responsibilities

• Develops a commercial strategy and annual sales plan for the China market that meets and exceed company sales goals and profitability objectives.
• Provides comprehensive monthly analysis and reporting of regional sales performance.
• Participates in sales negotiations and direct proposal efforts before submission of tenders.
• Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, etc.
• Seeks out and targets new customers and new sales opportunities, initiates action plan to approach and secure new business for the Company.
• Initiates and coordinates development of market development plans to penetrate new markets.
• Undertakes any other duties as may be assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Chemistry, Instrumental Analysis or Chemistry-related major.
• More than 5 years of professional sales experience specializing in scientific instruments at foreign-funded companies, preferably with sales experience in XRF, XRD or materials-related products.
• Excellent communication skills in both Chinese and English. Familiar with MS Office、Internet and Outlook.
• Willing to take extensive travels.
