Job Description

The Account Manager manages business relationships within assigned Business Unit - PowerTrain Controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales growth as per Product Line targets, lead negotiations of pricing / claims, lead customer satisfaction metrics, developing the customer strategy for assigned client.
• Lead Market Analysis and sales planning of global projects for customers.
• Support plant topics for delivery issues, and engineering changes.
• Key team member of the Powertrain controls sales team and supporting or filling in for other Sales team as needed.
• Process improvements on commercial topics (Quote process, Tooling collection).
• Negotiation of terms and conditions, gain legal support when required.
• Dealing with confidential topics.
• External communication with customer puchasing and engineering teams,
• Internal communication with all functions for preparing quotes and commercial topics,
• Building customer relationships is critical to the success of this role
• Implementing changes at our production facilities, promoting new products as required
• sales planning and strategies for products / customers

Required Experience

• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field; Masters degree preferred
• 10 Years of automotive or industrial experience from either engineering, project management or previous sales/account management experience.
• External applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without employment visa or other sponsorship.
• Experience in building customer relationships while maintaining existing business.
• Ability to prioritize and make decisions.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication ability (written & verbal).
