We are looking for a Sales Account Manager to join our Industrial Measurements organization at Vaisala Italy in Gallarate (VA). Take ownership of sales across the entire Italian market and make a tangible impact on our continued growth.

What's your role?

You will play a vital role in strengthening Vaisala’s presence and impact across the Italian market, working closely with your local colleagues and reporting to the Senior Sales Manager.

• Promote Vaisala offering by visiting existing and potential new customers, participating in exhibitions and fairs, organizing customer seminars, etc. to generate sales
• Seek new customers and leads, turning them into sales opportunities, and closing the deals successfully
• Prepare quotations and tenders in accordance with Vaisala sales process
• Be the subject matter expert on customer needs, challenges, and market conditions

Travelling is expected in this role as our customers are spread throughout the national territory.

What will you bring?

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in selling industrial instruments
• A proven track record of acquiring new customers and identifying business growth opportunities
• The ability to build, nurture, and grow long-term relationships with existing customers
• A suitable technical background, gained for example through an engineering education or experience in technical sales
• Strong communication and negotiation skills in both Italian and English
• Curiosity and a growth mindset to explore, learn, and apply AI tools in your daily work. We expect everyone at Vaisala to actively discover how AI can enhance their work

Anticipated salary range: The base salary for this position ranges from 50 000 EUR currency to 70 000 EUR currency annually. The final salary is determined by how your skills, knowledge, and capabilities align with the role's requirements, alongside internal equity and alignment with market data. You will also be eligible for annual Vaisala sales bonus plan.
