Position Summary:
Manage and develop customer accounts to drive sales growth in targeted markets.  Build long-term trusting customer relationships by delivering exceptional customer service, knowledge of industry and internal product capabilities. Track key account metrics to forecast business.  Oversee all account management, including negotiating contracts to maximize profitability.
Essential Functions:
Build and maintain relationships with customer base by providing excellent customer service and listening to customer requirements and needs
Cold call from a prescribed list of generated contacts, both commercial and government.
Qualify business/government contacts and establish relationships.
Ability to absorb/process vast amounts of product information, and understand the products manufactured by entire enterprise.
Interact directly with sales manager and engineers.
Make sales presentations to C-level corporate executives and senior military personnel.
Calculate bids/quotes for presentation and marketing to client.
Possess effective time management skills and able to juggle multiple clients and provide exceptional customer service, support, and follow-up.
Attend and manage trade show activity.
Work with factory to meet customer needs.

Excellent organization skills with strong attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills and high degree of initiative required
Excellent communication both written and verbal
Exceptional presentation skills.
Work independently and possess a high level of self-motivation and initiative
Must be proficient with MS Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Experience in ERP/MRP systems
Experience in CRM / Infusion Soft or other customer data bases
Experience in Excel or pricing software
This position requires up to 50% of travel by car, plane, and train as needed.
Education, Certifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree
7 years of proven experience required
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Working conditions are normal for that of a manufacturing/machine shop/office environment.
