Job Description

The Sales Account Manager 3 manages moderately complex sales cycles, leads non-routine assignments and supports strategic initiatives within assigned accounts.

This role exercises good judgment to resolve challenges in the sales cycle, build customer trust, and directly impact account growth and the customer experience.

Note: This role may come into contact with confidential or sensitive customer information requiring special treatment in accordance with Red Hat policies and applicable privacy laws.

• Guide customer success by developing and implementing account strategies, identifying new sales opportunities, and promoting Red Hat's product portfolio.
• Lead sales initiatives and collaborate across teams to ensure successful deal delivery.
• Manage and resolve moderately complex issues in the sales process, using creative solutions to address customer needs.
• Monitor forecasts and pipelines, ensuring alignment with sales goals and customer expectations.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders within customer accounts, ensuring trust and long-term collaboration.
• Partner with finance and legal teams to manage more complex deals and contract negotiations.
• Lead prospecting efforts by identifying, qualifying, and engaging new contacts to generate opportunities and build pipeline aligned to strategic account plans
• Independently manage CRM records to ensure accurate tracking of customer interactions, opportunity progress and pipeline health.
• Prepare proposals and presentations with cross-functional teams to deliver business value-based offerings that map to customer pain points.
• Build and maintain account plans for top accounts based on discovery and client research.
