The Position

You will lead all activities related to implementing the assigned oncology portfolio strategy. The goal is to unlock the value of Roche's FMI precision medicine portfolio to support better clinical decision-making and improve patient outcomes.

This role will cover region: Bucharest with occasional travel to other Romanian cities based on the need.

Hybrid way of working (Office and Home Office) is enabled for this role.

The Opportunity and Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and address relevant medical information for clinical practice based on local portfolio focus. Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and Roche SOPs to effectively support the clinical demand for Roche’s product portfolio;
  • Execute the tactical plan aligned with the marketing and communication strategy. Engage relevant stakeholders from clinics and manage strategic accounts (Key Accounts) to generate demand for Roche’s oncology portfolio, with a specific focus on FMI, while meeting company objectives;
  • Deliver presentations to clinicians and ensure field presence, either individually or in collaboration with other functions (e.g. marketing, medical);
  • Collect valuable insights from the field and share them with the organization to inform future strategies and activities;
  • Actively collaborate closely with various functions to ensure the relevance and effectiveness of the tactical plan and to achieve overall business goals;
  • Identify new customers and develop tactical plans to grow the Roche FMI distributors’ portfolio in line with the company’s target customer profile;
  • Continuously update product knowledge, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information regarding product promotion and commercialization. Share this information with clinicians to support effective decision-making;
  • Engage and build strong relationships with KOLs, providing expert consultation on product-related matters and fostering meaningful interactions.

Who You Are

  • You hold a University degree in Natural Sciences such as Medical, Pharmacy, Chemistry, or Biology (Business related degree would be an advantage)
  • Proven (3+ years) work experience in healthcare/pharmaceutical industry, with relevant interactions in clinical set-up (hospitals, clinics with medical doctors)
  • Demonstrate excellent product and sales processes knowledge
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, scenarios and risks/opportunities mindset
  • You have a proven track record of effective decision-making and sound professional judgment
  • Experienced working in cross-functional teams and matrix and collaborative environment
  • Advanced organizational and time management skills, can priorities multiple tasks and goals to ensure timely and high-quality accomplishment
  • Fluent (written and spoken) in English and Romanian, and bring advanced communication skills and high sensitiveness to local conditions
  • You must hold a valid driving license B, and have availability to travel within Romania occasionally
