At Factorial we're looking for a new Founding Account Executive for the Portuguese Market to help us support and scale our Factorial IT team to the next level. As part of the team in charge of building and defining our go-to-market approach for Factorial IT, you'll be in charge of owning the full sales cycle from discovery to close, building consultative relationships with IT and Operations decision-makers, and helping shape the sales playbook for this new business line

Factorial is known for transforming how companies manage HR and Finance through a single, intuitive platform. Now, weโ€™re taking things a step further. Weโ€™re launching Factorial IT , and we are building the founding team that will take this product from 0 to โ‚ฌ10M ARR

Our team operates like a startup inside Factorial: its own roadmap, its own go-to-market strategy, and a team expected to grow rapidly. We already have the technical backbone in place and +200 active customers proving the demand.

Why This Role Is Special ๐ŸŒŸ

This is a founding role in a new vertical inside Factorial.
Youโ€™ll not only close deals but help define our playbook, sales narrative, and customer experience for Factorial IT.
Your success will directly shape how we grow this business across Europe.

As a Founding AE, youโ€™ll own the full sales cycle โ€” from discovery to close โ€” for Factorial IT.
Youโ€™ll speak with IT Managers, CIOs, and Operations leaders to understand how they manage their people, devices, and SaaS tools today, and show them how Factorial can unify it all in one platform.

Depending on your profile and career goals, youโ€™ll focus either on:

  • New Business (new logos) โ€” acquiring new customers, or

  • Customer Expansion (existing customers) โ€” upselling Factorial HR clients.

What you'll do ๐Ÿ“

  • Manage the full sales cycle from qualified lead to close.

  • Run discovery sessions, product demos, and solution presentations.

  • Build consultative relationships with IT and Ops decision-makers.

  • Collaborate closely with SDRs and Marketing to refine ICP and messaging.

  • Track and forecast opportunities accurately in HubSpot CRM.

  • Share insights from customers to improve product and process.

Your Profile ๐Ÿง

  • 1โ€“3 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales (preferably in IT, Cloud, or Operations).

  • Native or bilingual in Portuguese with professional English

  • Strong consultative selling and discovery skills.

  • Organized, analytical, and comfortable managing pipeline and forecasts.

  • Excellent communicator with a passion for technology.

  • Entrepreneurial mindset โ€” excited to build, test, and iterate.

Bonus Points โœจ

  • Experience selling to IT personas (CIO, IT Manager, VP Engineering).

  • Background in ITSM, MDM, or SaaS automation solutions.

  • Experience with upselling/cross-selling in existing customer bases.
