Responsibilities

• Manage the complete sales cycle, from qualified lead and discovery to requirement gathering, proposal development, negotiation, and deal closure.
• Independently lead client calls, meetings, and presentations, understanding business challenges and recommending relevant technology solutions through a consultative sales approach.
• Gather business and functional requirements and translate client discussions into actionable briefs for technical teams.
• Prepare and present proposals, estimates, and pricing, coordinating Statements of Work (SOWs) with internal teams.
• Collaborate with solution architects, developers, project managers, and delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and aligned with client expectations.
• Drive sales opportunities through proactive follow-ups, clear next steps, and effective pipeline management to achieve revenue targets.
• Build and maintain client relationships after deal closure, identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and renewals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a relevant field.
• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in software services sales, preferably in software development or technology consulting.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with the confidence to lead conversations with US-based clients and senior decision-makers independently.
• Proven ability to negotiate and close deals, ideally managing opportunities from the initial discovery call through final closure.
• Working knowledge of custom software development, AI/ML, cloud services, and staff augmentation, with the ability to discuss these offerings confidently with clients.
• Strong consultative selling, requirement-gathering, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
• Proficiency in HubSpot or similar CRM tools to document client discussions, manage deal stages, track follow-ups, maintain pipeline visibility, and support sales forecasting.
• A proactive, self-driven approach with the ability to take ownership of opportunities and work independently.
• Availability for EST time-zone overlap is required.

Role Expectations: The Account Executive is expected to progressively take ownership of client relationships and sales opportunities, operating independently with minimal reliance on senior management.
