About the role:
Providing our clients with exceptional service is the foundation of our business. As an Account Executive (Canada Region), you’ll be responsible for maintaining existing and developing new relationships with law firms and lawyers to drive revenue and meaningful sales growth to exceed your sales goals within the Vancouver, BC market.
What you'll get to do:
• Drive new business and grow market share by prospecting for and winning new clients, firms, practice groups, and opportunities within the assigned territory
• Expand Veritext's share of wallet by going wider and deeper within existing accounts - building relationships across offices, practice areas, cases, and decision-makers to uncover and convert new opportunities
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities, consistently prospecting, advancing opportunities, and maintaining the activity required to achieve revenue, job, and gross profit targets
• Develop strategic territory and account plans that prioritize high-potential prospects, clients, and opportunities for growth
• Build relationships at all levels of target accounts, from support staff and influencers to senior decision-makers, creating multiple avenues to drive new business and overall growth
• Maintain a strong field presence through regular in-person meetings with clients and prospects to uncover needs, develop relationships, present Veritext solutions and advance opportunities forward
• Proactively network and prospect within the legal community by attending industry related events. All with the goal to generate new relationships, referrals and business opportunities while strengthening Veritext's market presence
• Lead consultative sales conversations by understanding client needs and positioning the appropriate Veritext products, services, and solutions
• Identify and capitalize on cross-sell and upsell opportunities, increasing adoption of Veritext's solutions and expanding relationships beyond individual services, cases, or matters
• Differentiate Veritext from competitors by demonstrating strong knowledge of the market, competitive landscape, client needs and Veritext's overall value proposition
• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through solution development, pricing, negotiation, asking for the business and closing the sale
• Own revenue growth within the territory by consistently acquiring new business, expanding existing relationships, leveraging market intelligence and strategically allocating time toward the highest-value opportunities
The kind of teammate we are looking for:
• Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in sales; demonstrated success in sales, negotiation, communication and problem solving skills in a fast paced business environment
• Proficiency in MS Office required
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Customer Service oriented with strong interpersonal skills
• Dedicated professional with the ability to respond to requests promptly and accurately
• Detail oriented, organized and able to multitask
• Proactive and motivated with strong problem solving and follow-up skills
• Must be able to work both independently and with a team
