Job Description

At Synechron, we believe in harnessing the power of digital innovation to transform businesses and create lasting impact. As a global consulting firm, we combine creativity, deep industry expertise, and leading-edge technology to deliver innovative solutions across Data, AI, Cloud, Digital, and Infrastructure.

We help organisations modernise their technology ecosystems, scale with confidence, and unlock new opportunities for growth. Through our award-winning FinLabs accelerators and strategic partnerships with Microsoft, AWS, Databricks, Salesforce, and ServiceNow, we empower our consultants to innovate faster, solve complex business challenges, and deliver meaningful outcomes for clients around the world

The role:

As Synechron continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated and ambitious Sales and Account Coordinator to join our team.

This role provides broad exposure to the national sales function, supporting sales operations, customer engagement, opportunity management, account support, commercial processes, and internal stakeholder coordination.

We are looking for someone who is early in their sales career and has gained initial experience in a B2B sales, customer success, or client-facing environment. Most importantly, you will be eager to learn, commercially minded, and excited to build a long-term career in sales and account management.

This is not a traditional administrative support position. The successful candidate will be an active contributor to the sales team, progressively building exposure to customer interactions, business opportunities, account development, and strategic sales initiatives. This role offers an excellent pathway for someone looking to develop broader commercial expertise and grow within a high-performing professional services environment.

Responsibilities:

Sales & Account Support

  • Work directly with the sales team to support opportunities, accounts and customer activity.
  • Coordinate sales activities and follow-ups across multiple stakeholders.
  • Support preparation for customer meetings, presentations and account activities.
  • Participate in engagement kick-offs and assist with mobilisation and handover into delivery.
  • Build relationships with customer stakeholders, buyers, consultants and internal teams.

Proposals & Sales Content

  • Support creation and coordination of customer responses, proposals and sales collateral.
  • Maintain and improve the sales asset library so current material can be found and reused effectively.
  • Work with Marketing to develop and maintain case studies and customer success material.
  • Coordinate inputs from consultants, delivery leaders and subject matter experts.
  • Support preparation of presentations and other customer-facing material.

Sales Operations & CRM

  • Maintain accurate opportunity and account information within CRM and work management systems.
  • Help drive consistency in sales processes, opportunity tracking and reporting.
  • Track actions, deadlines and dependencies across opportunities and accounts.

Commercial & Financial Coordination

  • Work with Finance and the sales team on customer/job setup and related commercial administration.
  • Monitor job burn rates, budgets and other commercial information, escalating issues to the appropriate sales lead.
  • Assist with information required for forecasting and operational reviews.
  • Prepare sales and commercial material for regular operations meetings.

Internal Collaboration

They'll interact regularly with:

  • Sales and account leads
  • Leadership
  • Delivery leaders and senior consultants
  • Customer stakeholders and procurement/buyers
  • Finance
  • Marketing
  • Partnership/alliance teams

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Ideally 1–3 years' experience in B2B sales, sales coordination, account support, customer success or a similar commercial environment.
  • Understands the fundamentals of a sales process and is genuinely interested in developing a career in sales.
  • Comfortable working with commercial information, customer requirements, deadlines and processes.
  • Naturally organised and follows things through rather than needing constant reminders.
  • High standard of accuracy when working with CRM, proposals and commercial information.
  • Comfortable dealing with senior consultants and internal leaders.
  • Able to interact professionally with customers and procurement/buying stakeholders.
  • Can confidently chase inputs and actions from people more senior than themselves.
  • Comfortable having multiple competing requests and deadlines.
  • Able to make sensible priority decisions and escalate competing priorities to the National Sales Lead when required.
  • Wants to understand the customer, opportunity and commercial context rather than simply completing assigned tasks.
  • Interested in learning how accounts are developed, opportunities are progressed and professional services are sold.
