SALES REPRESENTATIVE – INDUSTRIAL / TECHNICAL SALES

Location: Cape Town OR Port Elizabeth OR East London
Industry: Industrial | Technical Sales | Manufacturing

We are looking for someone driven, coachable, and hungry to build long-term client relationships within the industrial and manufacturing sectors.

This is not a passive, order-taking role.

You will be out in the market, engaging with manufacturers, engineers, production teams, and technical stakeholders while developing business and driving sales growth.

What You'll Be Doing

• Building and developing a client base within the industrial sector
• Calling on manufacturers and technical stakeholders
• Identifying new business opportunities and closing deals
• Developing strong client relationships
• Assisting clients with solution-based product recommendations
• Supporting the Sales Manager with external sales activities and market development
• Managing sales pipelines, quotations, and client follow-ups
• Growing territory sales and expanding market presence

Who This Role Is Ideal For

• Internal sales representatives within engineering or industrial environments looking to step into external sales

Minimum Requirements

• Previous sales experience within an industrial, engineering, manufacturing, or technical environment advantageous
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfortable engaging with technical clients and operational teams
• Self-motivated with strong initiative
• Valid driver's license
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region
• Computer literate
