(Saudi National Only) Grade: G07Location: TaifWorking hours: full timeAdvert closing: 20/09/2026 ROLE OBJECTIVE & OUTLINE RESPONSIBILITY: · The function of the Ground Support Systems (GSS) Supervisor is to be responsible to the GSS Team Leaders for the following: · Coach and delivery OJT to GSS Technicians, to develop GSS specific knowledge and skills · Maintain the level of technical knowledge of Typhoon GSS, including all sub-systems · Deliver GSS maintenance services including, corrective and preventative diagnosis and rectification tasks · Produce the following routine reports for inactive user accounts and mandated training · Attend the following meetings including; SHE, entry in to service, factory and site acceptance tests as and when directed to do so by team leaders · Provide GSS SME support to internal audits · Comply with all SHE and Quality Assurance standards across all GSS related activities, including compliance with all related regulations, policies and proceduresResponsibilities · Delivery of all Typhoon GSS Administration activities associated with the delivery, mobilization and maintenance of all GSS installations in support of RSAF Typhoon operations at main operating bases and KSA based deployments · Support the GSS Team Leaders in their performance appraisal of GSS Technicians · Support project teams with technical issues in the design, planning, initialisation and rollout of solutions to provide GSS capability to the Salam organisation · Installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of system hardware and software related to the GSS Operational infrastructure to be utilised in support of GSS activities · Raise Technical Publications Request Form (TPRF’s) against approved data when necessary · Assist with the transfer of knowledge, mentoring, counterpart development and consolidation activities with the RSAF GSS System Administrators and PC SNs · Responsible to the GSS Team Leaders for the delivery of the Typhoon GSS Administrator Service to the RSAF · Comply with all governance requirements of the Operational Framework including; ITAR, LCM, planning, monitoring, change control · Assist with effective supervision of Safety, SHE and Quality Assurance across all GSS related activities, including compliance with all related regulations, policies and procedures · Understand all aspects of GSS and its associated systems and how their availability impacts on the Business objectives, and be able to convey to the team how their respective roles align with the overall Business plan · Complete all mandated business and technical related training, prior to deadlines · Be pro-active towards own performance appraisal ePDR · Report, appropriately, all safety-related occurrences and non-compliances via Line Manager · Understand all elements of GSS Management documents and procedures which relate to this role Job Requirements: Essential · A recognised qualification to NVQ3/ONC/OND/BTEC level in a relevant technical or IT or computer science discipline, or a technical apprenticeship, or suitable equivalent technical qualification approved by M&CA. · At least 5 years’ experience in support aircraft ground capability, such as mission planning or maintenance management systems OR 2 years’ after successful completion of BAESSA apprenticeship programme (SNTTP/ TSNTTP). · At least a Familiar level of skills in support aircraft ground capability, such as mission planning or maintenance management systems. · At least an Awareness level of knowledge of Continuing Airworthiness. · At least an Awareness level of knowledge of aircraft operation environments and of the aircraft weapon system. · At least a Familiar level of skills of aircraft operations management. · At least an Awareness level of experience of operations support services. · Fluent in English Language · Saudi Engineering Council (SEC) Registration. Desirable · NVQ5/BTEC/HND or Degree in a relevant technical or computer science discipline. · Incorporated/Technician or Chartered Engineer with an appropriate professional institute such as Saudi Council of Engineers, Royal Aeronautical Society or Institute of Engineering & Technology. · Should be able to work on their own initiative to resolve issues. · Effective communication skills and a proven ability to organize and deliver tasks on time. · 3+ Years’ experience within the field of service delivery in respect to IT support · Relevant qualifications in the following: · MS Server · MS Windows · Oracle · McAfee ePO · An awareness of Hyper Converged Infrastructure SAUDI NATIONAL EMPLOYEE BENEFITS In return for the required high levels of commitment and hard work you will receive a competitive salary and benefits package, including a generous leave and leave allowance, a full health care scheme and access to discounted gym membership.
