Fondée en 1961, Yves Saint Laurent a été la première maison de couture à lancer le concept du prêt-à-porter de luxe en créant, en 1966, la ligne ‘Rive Gauche’, synonyme de jeunesse et de liberté. Ce changement a représenté un premier pas crucial dans la modernisation de la mode et a révolutionné le paysage socio-culturel. En 1999, la division luxe du Groupe Kering a acquis la maison Yves Saint Laurent et, sous la direction créative d’Anthony Vaccarello depuis avril 2016, continue à la positionner au sommet de l’univers du luxe.
Aujourd’hui, les collections Saint Laurent incluent le prêt-à-porter féminin et masculin, les chaussures, les sacs, la petite maroquinerie, les bijoux, les foulards, les cravates et les lunettes.

Poste en CDD du 1er octobre 2026 au 28 février 2027, basé à Paris

As a Men Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of the Men RTW show. You will work closely with designers, suppliers, and production teams to ensure the successful creation and execution of men lines. Your primary focus will be on managing the development timeline, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality men samples.

Main responsabilities :

  • Collaborate with the Design team/Studio and Studio Coordination to understand the vision / concepts for men YSL.
  • Translate design ideas into technical specifications, considering fabric, trims, colors, and patterns…
  • Source and select suppliers and manufacturers for men development.
  • Manage the development timeline, ensuring the respect of deadlines ….
  • Foster strong relationships with Studio, suppliers, manufacturers, internal and external partners and coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to obtain samples and prototypes.
  • Guarantee flow of information’s related to development to the Purchase Teams of fabrics and Teams.
  • Attend to fit sessions and provide feedback to the design team for eventual necessary modifications.
  • Collaborate with the Costing & production team to ensure efficient and cost-effective manufacturing processes.
  • Monitor the quality of men samples and address any issues
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market demands, and emerging technologies
  • Maintain documentation and all supports and records of the men development process.
  • Weekly Consolidation and Communication of Budget progress.
  • Daily Monitoring Deliveries with the Team – follow up and consolidations to be shared.
  • Manage a Team of Coordination / Product Developpers / Technicien Developpers. (+/- 10p).
  • Developpement of Key Chaine & Trame Typologies – TAILORING /SPORTSWEAR / Chemise FLOU.
  • Manage Launch & Deliveries of RESET & PRESS / VIC/ Influencers’ Orders.
  • Insure Analyses and Historical Reports.

Profile :

  • Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven strong experience in RTW development within the luxury & fashion industry that has allowed you to develop your knowledge of fabric types, garment construction techniques, … ; your attention to details and strong project management skills
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate internally and externally
  • Proficiency in using design software and applications (ESKER computability and Financial system, Adobe, PLM systems…).
  • Fluent in French, English and Italian are a plus.
