We are curr ent ly seeking an Assistant Store Director who will r eport to the Store Director as part of our dyn amic t eam

ROLE

The Assistant Store Director supports the Store Director in driving the store’s commercial performance, people leadership, client experience, and operational excellence. Acting as a key leadership partner and delegate, the Assistant Store Director plays an active role in executing strategy, leading teams, and ensuring consistent application of brand, behavioral, and operational standards.

This role is a critical leadership position and talent pipeline for future Store Director roles, requiring strong judgment, accountability, and cross‑functional collaboration.

MISSION

Business

  • Support and contribute to the achievement of sales, KPI, and qualitative targets, taking ownership of defined business areas as assigned by the Store Director.
  • Actively track and analyze daily and weekly KPIs, identifying opportunities and risks and proposing corrective actions.
  • Lead by example on the selling floor, driving sales performance, service excellence, and team engagement.
  • Support and execute the clienteling strategy, including top client engagement, VIC development, retention actions, and local initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent execution of CRM activities and omnichannel initiatives, including events and digital client follow‑up.

People & Culture

  • Lead, coach, and develop team members through on‑the‑floor leadership, feedback, and training, ensuring high performance and engagement.
  • Actively support performance management processes, including goal setting, regular feedback, and corrective action in partnership with the Store Director and HR.
  • Reinforce and model behavioral, ethical, and professional standards, addressing issues promptly and escalating when required.
  • Contribute to maintaining a respectful, inclusive, and collaborative workplace culture.
  • Support succession planning by developing high‑potential talent within the team.

Operations, Collaboration & Execution

  • Support the Store Director in overseeing floor coverage, visual merchandising, client service standards, and daily operations.
  • Ensure operational excellence in assigned areas, including stock management, back‑office coordination, and process execution.
  • Collaborate closely with HR, Operations, Merchandising, and Finance partners to support store objectives.
  • Act as a reliable point of leadership continuity in the absence of the Store Director.

Compliance, Risk & Governance

  • Support the Store Director in ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, safety standards, and internal controls.
  • Identify potential risks related to people, operations, or client experience and escalate appropriately.
  • Ensure consistent application of procedures, standards, and brand guidelines.

PROFILE

  • Proven experience in luxury or premium retail, with a strong sales and client‑centric background.
  • Minimum 2–4 years of leadership experience in a retail management role.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and drive performance through influence and example.
  • Strong commercial awareness with developing KPI and analytical fluency.
  • Sound judgment and maturity in people leadership and decision‑making.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Experience with HRIS and expense tools (e.g., Dayforce, Concur) is a plus.
