Job Description

We're seeking an experienced SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) Developer to support enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with a strong Java development background who enjoys building integrations, developing custom solutions, and working across complex enterprise environments.

The successful candidate will play a hands-on role in designing, developing, and enhancing SailPoint IdentityIQ solutions while partnering with technical teams to deliver secure, scalable identity management capabilities.

6+ Month Engagement (Strong Potential for Extension)

What You’ll Do...

• Design, develop, customize, and support SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) solutions.
• Build and maintain integrations between SailPoint and enterprise applications.
• Develop custom Java-based functionality to meet business and security requirements.
• Gather technical requirements and produce design documentation, including architecture diagrams, workflows, data flows, and error-handling considerations.
• Develop unit tests and support automated testing practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Create, manage, and update Jira work items, including user stories, acceptance criteria, estimates, and dependencies.
• Participate in Agile delivery activities and contribute to planning and implementation efforts.

What We’re Looking For...

• Strong hands-on experience developing within SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ)
• Solid Java development experience with the ability to build custom integrations and enhancements.
• Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and best practices.
• Working knowledge of authentication and identity technologies including:
  • SAML
  • OAuth
  • OpenID Connect (OIDC)
  • LDAP
  • Single Sign-On (SSO)
  • ADFS
  • Federation
• Experience producing technical documentation and solution designs.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices, including testing and code quality.
• Experience working within Agile development environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred...

• Experience with risk, compliance, and IT controls.
• Exposure to Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions.
• Experience leading or contributing to enterprise-scale technical initiatives.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across technical and business teams.
