Job Description

Main Responsibilities

  1. Oversee daily ship operational activities and ensure compliance with company procedures and applicable industry regulations.
  2. Monitor, analyze, and report vessel operations and performance data to improve efficiency and support decision-making.
  3. Manage relationships with principals, including acquiring new principals, maintaining existing ones, and acting as the main point of contact.
  4. Ensure alignment of business proposals and agreements with market trends and company profitability targets.
  5. Analyze market conditions and provide insights to support business development and market expansion.
  6. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely fulfillment of operational needs and maintain high client satisfaction.

General Responsibilities

  1. Ensure the implementation of an Integrated Management System, including the identification, documentation, and control of risks in the relevant department's work area.
  2. Foster and ensure the commitment of every team member to understand and adhere to all applicable Integrated Management System requirements.
  3. Be willing to participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, including providing accurate information and reports based on known facts.
  4. Be willing to engage in the information security control process applied to protect the information assets and information processing assets owned and/or managed by the Company from threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Qualifications

  1. At least 2 years of experience in operations and/or commercial roles in shipping agency.
  2. Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Transportation/Logistic, Business, Maritime Studies, or related fields.
  3. Knowledge of vessel operations and marine services is preferred.
  4. Knowledge of export/import policies and laws, with strong problem-solving skills.
  5. Preferably with a background in logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
  6. Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  7. Willingness to travel or be based anywhere in Indonesia as needed.
