Job Description

Main Responsibilities
1. Provide regular updates on shipment schedules to internal teams and customers.

2. Manage bookings, secure vessel space, and process rate negotiations with customers.

3. Maintain communication with customers regarding shipment status and inquiries.

4. Oversee operational activities in the field and ensure operational needs are met.

5. Coordinate with field staff and principals to ensure smooth vessel operations.

6. Report operational problems, shipment issues, and customer complaints to management.

7. Receive, prioritize, and resolve customer requests in a timely manner.

8. Submit vessel activity invoices and related documents to the Finance team.

9. Coordinate with port authorities, terminal operators, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure operational efficiency.

10. Monitor cargo conditions and liaise with principals to address any issues during shipping operations.


General Responsibilities
1. Ensure the implementation of an Integrated Management System, including the identification, documentation, and control of risks in the relevant department's work area.
2. Foster and ensure the commitment of every team member to understand and adhere to all applicable Integrated Management System requirements.
3. Be willing to participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, including providing accurate information and reports based on known facts.
4. Be willing to engage in the information security control process applied to protect the information assets and information processing assets owned and/or managed by the Company from threats to confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

Requirements

1. Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, any major.

2. At least 1-2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or operations, preferably in a shipping agency.

3. Strong knowledge of vessel operations, booking processes, and shipment handling.

4. Experience coordinating with customers, principals, port authorities, and field staff, would be beneficial.

5. Excellent communication skills especially in reporting issues and resolving customer complaints.

6. Familiarity with monitoring operational performance and handling operational documentation.

7. Proficient organizational and problem-solving skills.

8. Ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple operational tasks efficiently.

9. Understanding of applicable government regulations and maritime compliance requirements.

10. Willing to be placed/relocated anywhere in Indonesia.
