Level: Assistant Manager
Reports To: Sage X3 Manager / Senior Manager

EY is seeking an experienced Sage X3 functional consultant to implement and support the Sage X3 ERP solution across multiple client engagements. The successful candidate will possess a balanced mix of functional consulting, technical understanding business advisory skills.

The role requires assisting on Sage X3 implementation projects, support engagements, solution enhancements and client relationships while contributing to the growth of EY's Sage X3 practice. The candidate will assist in consultants, participate in solution design, support business development initiatives, and ensure delivery excellence across the full Sage X3 lifecycle. EY's Sage practice focuses on implementation services, consulting services, support and maintenance, and training services.

Key Responsibilities

Client Delivery

• Participate in Sage X3 implementation, optimization, upgrade, and support projects.
• Conduct business process analysis and translate requirements into Sage X3 solutions.
• Facilitate client workshops and solution design sessions.
• Assist in the deliver functional specifications
• Manage issue resolution and escalation processes.
• Assist on providing best-practice ERP processes.

Functional Consulting

Be knowledgeable in these modules:

• General Ledger
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Fixed Assets
• Purchasing
• Inventory Management
• Sales Management
• Budgeting
• Report writing(Crystal reports and SEI)

Business Development

• Assist in solution demonstrations and client presentations.
• Contribute to Sage service offerings and accelerators.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

A minimum of:

• Bachelor's Degree (NQF Level 7) in:
• Accounting
• Information Systems
• Computer Science
• Information Technology
• Finance

Preferred:

• Postgraduate qualification (NQF Level 8) and upper

Required Sage Certifications

Candidates should possess one or more of the following:

Mandatory

• Sage X3 Certified Consultant
• Sage X3 Functional Certification

Preferred

• Sage X3 Finance Certification
• Sage X3 Distribution Certification
• Sage X3 Manufacturing Certification
• Sage Enterprise Intelligence Certification

Required Experience

Functional Experience

• 5–10 years of Sage X3 consulting experience.
• End-to-end implementation experience across multiple industries.
• Experience with:
