This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sage Software Engineer in Canada.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to design, develop, and optimize software solutions on the Sage ERP platform, particularly for the construction industry. You will work closely with stakeholders to integrate Sage with other systems, automate workflows, and create custom modules to meet complex business needs. The position requires a hands-on approach to system development, data management, and reporting customization, ensuring that ERP solutions align seamlessly with organizational processes. You will also provide guidance during implementation projects, troubleshoot integrations, and maintain thorough documentation for long-term system sustainability. This remote role offers exposure to a high-growth, technical environment with opportunities to contribute meaningfully to strategic initiatives across the organization. Occasional travel may be required to support client engagements and collaborative projects.

Accountabilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy custom modules, automations, and workflows within Sage ERP platforms to meet business requirements.
• Integrate Sage with other systems, including CRM, e-commerce, and payroll platforms, ensuring smooth data flow and functionality.
• Support implementation projects, including CRM integrations, Web Services advisory, data extraction, document template creation, and custom check formats.
• Customize Sage to align with business processes, reporting structures, and chart of accounts.
• Create advanced, customized reports using ICRW, SQL, and database relationships.
• Manage financial data tasks such as migration, validation, and transformation.
• Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, integrations, and customizations for knowledge sharing and ongoing maintenance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Sage ERP (Construction) and cloud-based financial systems.
• At least 4 years of experience in the Construction industry.
• Authorized to work for any employer in Canada.
• Proficiency in programming languages and tools such as Postman, HTML, SQL, PHP, .NET, and XSL.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
