Are you proactive, organised, and passionate about safety and wellbeing? Citycare Property is looking for a Safety and Wellness Coordinator to support and drive initiatives that keep our people safe and thriving across the business.
Based in Christchurch, you’ll work closely with our National Safety and Wellness Manager and play a key role in influencing safe work practices, enhancing reporting insights, and supporting meaningful wellbeing programmes. What You’ll Be Doing | Ngā Kawenga Takohanga
• Maintain and enhance the Health and Safety Management System, ensuring it is user-friendly and effective
• Support high-quality data capture, reporting, and insights for management and the Board
• Coordinate safety and wellness programmes, including drug and alcohol testing and wellbeing services
• Assist with data collection and presentation for reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
• Lead and support communications such as safety alerts, newsletters, and toolbox talks
• Provide coordination support for training, inductions, and field-based safety activities
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to drive consistent and meaningful safety outcomes
• Take ownership of document management and SafetyNet system administration

• A passion for safety and wellbeing, with a proactive and positive mindset
• Strong organisation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and anticipate team needs
• High attention to detail, especially with data, reporting, and documentation
• A collaborative, team-first approach with a willingness to learn and grow
• Experience in a similar role (desirable but not essential)
• A qualification in Health and Safety or interest to work towards one
• Legal right to work in Aotearoa, ability to pass a drug and alcohol test and willingness to consent to a Criminal Record Check
