Purpose: Provide dedicated watch for hot work, confined space, and other PTWcontrolled activities.
Reports to: Loss Control Supervisor / ORYX Permit Holder | Work Schedule: Schedule3 (12 h/day, 6 d/wk; day or night) | Location: Ras Laffan, Qatar
Key Responsibilities:
Continuously monitor work area for hazards; maintain headcount and communication with PTW authority.
Ensure correct use and readiness of breathing air/SCBA sets and firefighting equipment.
Stop job/escalate when unsafe acts/conditions are observed.
Complete logs as per PTW requirements and support onsite HSE activities.
Minimum Qualifications/Certifications:
Basic Safety training (e.g., IOSH/Managing Safely), Basic First Aid, Fire Extinguisher.
Breathing Air, Hot Work, Radio Communication, Confined Space, Gas Tester, PTW awareness.
Minimum Experience:
2+ years in an HSE role in petrochemical or Oil & Gas.
Job Specific Skills (must/strongly preferred):
Awareness of Lifting & Rigging, Working at Height, Excavation safety.
