Standard Safety & Supply is looking for a Safety (H2S) Tech for their North Dakota location. The Safety Technician I inspects work areas and equipment to ensure compliance with company, state and federal safety policies and regulations. This position will work to create and enforce a culture of safety. Responsibilities also include H2S, Confined Space, Air Assist, Permit Writing and Vertical Rope Rescue.

Requirements

• Provide support to all Standard Safety & Supply employees and customers.
• Supervises field safety compliance by ensuring that Standard Safety & Supply is fulfilling safety policies as well as the policies of our customers.
• Responsible for knowing and applying county, state and federal DOT compliance requirements, as applicable.
• Inspect working conditions to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, as well as Standard Safety & Supply and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with managers to monitor compliance and identify safety issues.
• Intervene in unsafe activities or operations.
