Our award-winning client is seeking a Safety Systems Specialist to join their team. Join our team as a Safety Systems Specialist and play a pivotal role in building and maintaining a best-in-class Safety and Health Management System (SHMS) based on ISO 45001.
Responsibilities:
Spearheaded the implementation and continuous improvement of our SHMS, fostering a culture of safety ownership throughout the organization.
Partner with team members to identify and control safety hazards, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
Develop and deliver engaging safety training programs for all personnel.
Maintain meticulous safety records and reports, demonstrating ongoing adherence to all safety standards.
Analyze incidents and recommend innovative solutions to prevent future occurrences.
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of safety experience in an industrial setting.
Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health or Engineering preferred (or equivalent experience).
Strong understanding of ISO 45001 or similar safety management systems.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in safety software and data management.
Experience with emergency response and security is a plus.
