Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a Safety manager (f/m) to join our RAMS department based in Toulouse, France.
Our RAMS department delivers centralized Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety (RAMS) engineering for space programs across satellite, instrument, and ground segment projects. Dedicated to technical excellence and continuous innovation, the team drives R&D, expands program support, and fosters cross-company technical collaboration to ensure top-tier dependability and safety at every level.
As Safety manager on Egnos program (*), you will be expected to ensure that all dependability and safety risks associated with the design, development, production and operation of the system are adequately identified, assessed, minimised, controlled and finally accepted, over the whole scope and duration of the project.
(*) European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service (EGNOS) is Europe's regional satellite-based augmentation system (SBAS) that is used to improve the performance of GNSSs, such as GPS and Galileo. It provides safety of life navigation services to aviation, maritime and land-based users over most of Europe.
