Our award-winning client is seeking a Safety Manager to join their team. We're seeking a Safety Manager to join our team! In this critical leadership role, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing programs that ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all safety and environmental programs, ensuring adherence to OSHA, RCRA, TSCA, and other regulations.
Develop and implement systems that promote safety awareness and reduce incidents.
Conduct thorough accident investigations and develop recommendations for continuous improvement.
Lead training programs and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for effective hazard communication.
Manage permitting, reporting, and develop procedures for a sustainable operation.
Create and maintain an Emergency Action Plan (EAP) and oversee emergency drills.
Represent the company during agency audits and ensure compliance.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in EHS, Safety, or a related field.
5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Multi-site experience (a plus).
OSHA Certification is required.
