Job Description

As the SHE Manager, you will be the leading Safety, Health, and Environment professional for the Mairinque site, supporting the operation in maintaining compliance, reducing risks, and continuously strengthening the site's safety culture. This is an opportunity to work in a complex industrial environment with exposure to highly relevant technical topics, regional and global interfaces, and a direct impact on protecting people, the environment, and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the SHE strategy and daily operations for the Mairinque site, ensuring compliance with legal, corporate, and operational requirements.
• Manage Safety, Health, and Environment programs, including audits, performance indicators, incident investigations, and corrective action plans.
• Drive behavioral safety initiatives and strengthen the SHE culture across leaders, employees, and contractors.
• Ensure effective management of critical risks, including compliance with Brazilian Regulatory Standards (NRs), working at heights, confined space entry, hot work, combustible/explosive materials, and process safety.
• Lead, coach, and develop the site's SHE team, including safety technicians, environmental professionals, administrative support, interns/apprentices, and the occupational physician.
• Serve as the site's focal point for global and regional SHE guidelines, corporate requirements, campaigns, and communication with internal stakeholders.

You Bring:

• Solid experience in SHE/HSE/EHS within complex industrial environments, preferably with exposure to critical risks and high-hazard operations
• Practical knowledge of Brazilian Regulatory Standards (NRs) and occupational safety practices, including confined space entry, working at heights, hot work, and operational risk management
• Experience with process safety, combustible and explosive materials, incident investigations, audits, KPIs, and corrective action plans
• Proven experience leading technical teams and influencing operations, leaders, employees, and contractors
• English proficiency to participate in meetings with global teams and to understand corporate requirements and guidelines
• Knowledge of OSHA standards, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 (or OHSAS 18001), HAZOP, GHS, industrial hygiene, Behavioral-Based Safety (BBS/SafeStart), and experience in the chemical, petrochemical, animal nutrition, food/feed, or other high-risk industrial sectors
