Reporting to the Human Resources Director, the incumbent takes the lead to conduct Occupational Health Safety (OH&S) assessments required by and in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation. This position is required to anticipate, recognize, evaluate and recommend changes to Library procedures relating to OH&S. Writing or updating procedures through consultation with employees and with management approval is required. The incumbent maintains a consulting relationship to the Neighbourhood Services Managers, Branch Heads and Supervisors. As a member of the OH&S Committee the position works collaboratively with other HR consultants, department managers and supervisors from all areas of VPL as required.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 5:00pm
