Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Safety Coordinator to support an industrial shutdown project in New Caney, TX. The ideal candidate will monitor jobsite safety, assist with compliance and documentation, identify potential hazards, and work closely with supervisors and crews to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety inspections and jobsite walkthroughs.
• Monitor OSHA and site-specific safety compliance.
• Assist with JSA/JHA, permits, toolbox talks, and safety documentation.
• Identify hazards and communicate corrective actions.
• Support incident reporting and investigations.
• Ensure proper PPE and safe work practices are followed.
• Work with supervisors and crews to address safety concerns.
• Maintain safety records and daily reports.

Qualifications

• Previous industrial safety experience required.
• Shutdown, refinery, petrochemical, or construction experience preferred.
• OSHA 10/30 or safety certifications preferred.
• Strong knowledge of industrial safety practices.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must be dependable and safety-focused.
