Job Description

The Safety Coordinator supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental programs. This position conducts inspections, audits, incident investigations, and employee training while partnering with departments across the organization to maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys balancing field work, problem-solving, employee engagement, and safety compliance.

This is a safety-sensitive position. Employment is contingent upon successfully passing all required background checks and drug screening. A positive drug test will result in a job offer being rescinded or, for active employees, termination, even if the individual possesses a valid medical marijuana license.

  • Promote a proactive culture of workplace safety throughout the organization.
  • Conduct routine safety and environmental inspections and audits.
  • Ensure compliance with company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Investigate workplace incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Lead engaging safety meetings and deliver employee safety training programs.
  • Serve as a trusted resource for managers, employees, and contractors regarding workplace safety concerns.
  • Monitor safety action items and assist departments in resolving compliance issues.
  • Coordinate safety equipment, supplies, and environmental resources as needed.
  • Assist with corporate safety initiatives, special projects, and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and safety records.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Associate's degree in Safety, Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong observational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience conducting inspections, audits, or workplace safety activities preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively teach safety concepts.
  • Strong organizational, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with employees, leaders, and contractors at all levels.
  • Self-motivation with the ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the appropriate gaming license.
