Job Description

  • Responsible for daily tasks associated with the safety department.
  • Maintain safety logs and training files.
  • Assist with safety training for new hires and current employees.
  • Maintain and update all SDS books and chemical list.
  • Assist in incident investigations.
  • Assist in drug testing.
  • Provide leadership and direction regarding safety policies and procedures.
  • Conduct all daily, weekly, monthly and annual safety inspections.
  • Crosstrain in all areas in the department.
  • All other relevant duties to the job.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English languages preferred.
  • Technically proficient with technology and usage of computers and software.
  • Some college or technical training preferred.
