Degree/Qualification:

• 
  Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Safety Engineering, or related fields.

• 
  Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive safety engineering, with a strong focus on CAE and airbag simulation.

Experience:

• 
  Hands-on
  expertise
  in safety-related CAE simulations, specifically in occupant restraint systems and airbag deployment performance.

• 
  Strong understanding of finite element modelling (FEM) and simulation methods for airbag modules, including frontal, side, curtain, and knee airbags.

• 
  Familiarity with occupant injury criteria, crash test dummy models, and regulatory/safety performance requirements (Euro NCAP,
  ECE,
  US NCAP, IIHS, FMVSS).

• 
  Experience in using CAE tools for safety and restraint simulations.

• 
  Ability to
  validate
  simulation results with physical test data and refine models to improve prediction accuracy.

• 
  Familiarity with vehicle crashworthiness requirements, restraint system integration, and safety performance optimization.

• 
  Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, test, and homologation engineers.

• 
  Background in structured problem-solving methodologies (DFMEA, DVP, 8D, 5Y, DFSS, FTA).
